Amp suggestions

//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/bigwave.gif.16324171cad2db62cf4f16568b038478.gif Welcome to the forum. I hope you enjoy your stay in our little corner of the car audio world.

If I may forward a suggestion....

If the plan is to run a pair of coaxials along with a set of components you'd be much better served to run the components up front rather than in the back. Your imaging will be vastly improved with a better overall soundstage.

having said that - I have never personally run a Directed amp but I see people on here quite frequently having good luck with 'em.

Orion, Pioneer, Alpine, Kenwood (more specifically their eXcelon lineup) good gosh, man....the potential list of who makes a quality amp could go on and on and on...

Depends on what ya wanna spend, I reckon....

i wouldn't run components in the rear. those boston's are power hungry. mine really came alive with 300 watts per pair, but 200-250 should be adequate. i'd look for a 200 x2 amp and wire some coaxils off the headunit if rear fill is a must. are these the older or newer pros?

What 4 channel amp would be best to power these speakers? Looking for model numbers of amps by Diamond audio, Rockford, Orion, etc, etc that have enough power to make them speakers rock.

Thanks,
