Hi,

Im going to power 2 Kicker CompVR 15's (Need 1000rms).

edit: havnt got the subs yet, they can either be dual 2 or dual 4.

Ive been searching around forums and ikesound, and found a few amps that i thought were good deals.

reliability is my number one priority

number two is efficiency (stock civic alt sucksl)

directed 1100d refurb - 169+ship

viper d1200.1 refurb - 179+ship

directed 1500d refurb - 155+ship

concept cc-d1200 bnib - 200+ship

cadence a7hc used - 250 local pickup

orion xtr pro 1000 used - 200+ship

soundstream rubicon 1000.2 used - 170 local pickup

(if you guys have any suggestions id love to hear them)

which amp would best suit my needs?

ats the difference between direct 1200d and 1500d
they both put out 1200@ 1 ohm
i think basically just that one is directed and the other is viper...even though i think directed makes both brands along with orion now.....

anyone know if those 2 amps make rated power though?...or are they overrated?

I suggest you to buy hifonics bx-1500d for around 240 with shipping included that amp put outs 1200rms@1ohm.

2 dual 4ohm 15"

Perfect combination

I'd pick up one of those 3, with the Cadence probably having the highest output of the bunch.

All of them are also class A/B (I know the Rubicon is, and I *think* the Orion and A7HC are aswell, but I could be wrong), so they are also going to have the highest current consumption of the bunch. Just something to think about.......

no hifonics, sorry. heard a lot of bad things, and a friends bx1000d stopped working and when we cracked it open, the soldiering job was pretty shitty.

hmmm.. i dont really want a class A/B amp because my car has a stock 73A alternator.

however i've heard that the cadence is a very efficient amp.

the rubicon 1000.2 and concept 1200d are ruled out.
