Amp/Sub Ohm's Question

I have a JL 15" Sub with Dual Voice Coils.

My amp says it will do 600 Watt's RMS @ 4 Ohms. If I run a cable from my amp to BOTH Voice Coils on my sub in Parallel mode, will that still be 4 Ohms or will that knock it down to 2 Ohms?

It will be 2 ohms.
