Hello everyone I'm needing advice on my amp. Its a Kicker ZXS 1500.1. It is stuck in protection mode. I recently shipped it to kicker to have it repaired and they said everything checks out fine. I unhooked my speaker wires and the rca's and its still in protection. Ive moved my ground to another spot on the frame and still the same thing. I don't know what else to do. Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks!

Would it be rca's if its still doing it with them unplugged? I took it to a local audio shop and the guy said its fine as well. He said it would be something with the power wire, ground wire, or remote wire. They all seem fine. Was working perfect a couple weeks ago and then one morning was stuck in protection.

Check voltages at remote and power. And continuity at ground

Now my amp won't stay on at all. It powers on then off after I start my truck. All the connections are nice and tight. I did the remote wire jump thing and it still does the same thing. Problem now is it won't even stay on

Getting a good voltage reading does not mean good power transfer. You could read 13.8v out of a 24 AWG wire. Recheck your amplifier's ground and...

No need to bypass the amp. Most use an LOC that takes the full amped signal and turns it into a flat RCA level signal. Here is the newest I have...
