Amp strapping

So im just curious because i cant really find a step by step way of how you do it or what exactly your suppoed to do. But lets just say I had to PA a3000db's and wanted to strap them together what exactly do you do?

Sorry for such a dumb question, but im just confused on the matter.

each manufactor has a different way of doing it. basically you power each amp, then the amp will have some sort of cable to link them, and you set one amp to master/slave and usually wire the negative to one amp, and positive to the other. best to ask the manufactor of the amp

Ok its going to be powering at mt 18, does anyone have any suggestions to an amp under $600 that will do around 3500 - 4000 rms. That would be okay on an mt daily from what i have read about them. If im wrong please tell me lol. Also want the amp to be new and with warranty.

you don't need that much. is the mt a dual 2 ohm? the usuall amp of choice is an orion 2500D.

from what I have READ, a 20.1 should work pretty well for you.... assuming its a dual 1 ohm. Would be a little more than $600 though. Does it have to be 3500+watts? Do you have an electrical system that will even support that kind of power? If not, it would be pointless.

Yes electrical upgrades in the process of being done. HO alt 220 amp. And an extra batt in the back...... Am i going to need more? Big 3 is also going to be done.

PM hccafan and see if he's gonna have anymore 2500d...the new price on em is //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif. You could also get 2 kx1200s and strap em, or a kx2500.

kx2500 is only 2 ohm stable isn't it? also look into a cadence zrs-10

i have a guy in town that has a zrs-10 a american bass 150.1 was better ... alot better

strapping two eD nine.1's will give you about 2500ish watts
