amp stopped working?

One day i was playing my system, then i turn off the car for a few hours. I go back and my sub isn't playing, but the amp still lights up. I tried a different sub just to make sure it wasn't my main sub, but that still didn't work. My guess is my amp is messed up. Is there anything i can do to try to fix it? Or is it just a simple problem i over looked? All my wiring is fine, and i tripled checked it.
