amp staying on from the 12v source instead of rem

just make sure you have the wires in the right slots and youll be fine. The REM is probably getting constant power from somewhere causing the amp to stay on. Find out where and your problem is solved.

no dice.

it will stay on if i just connect the 12v from the batt.

The rem isnt getting constant power because i have 2 amps hooked up, and the other one only cuts on wt the radio.

Wires arent touching, this is weird and irritating.(sp)

OK, are you sure you are using the accessory wire off the HU (usually blue with a white stripe) and not the red or yellow wire for the REM(ote) wire?

because it sounds like you have your amps hooked up to the REM lead, but the REM lead is hooked into a constant power supply.

if one amp does turn on\off like it should, and the other does not, you do have a problem with eaither the wiring, or the amp.

thats crazy i have a mtx thunder240 amp that does that and i never did figure out what was wrong with it all i did was get a new amp (it was shitty anyways) and it worked perfect, but if you do figure out whats causing that let me know...

how do u have the rem wires going from one amp to the other? are they spliced? using a relay? or jus ran from one to the other kind of piggybacked?
spliced..

shorted it, it cuts off after i remove the ground it cuts right back on...

still nothing:uhoh:
