ok so im blasting my music and my sub amp shuts off. so by this time im guessing the fuse for my sub amp has blown because the voice amp (interior speakers) still sound meaning that the main fuse up front is still good. so i check my sub amp and it says fuse failure so i replace the fuse and still does not turn on and my ground is secure. dont know what it could be the amp itself does not have fuses attatched to it like the kicker amps do. (the amp is a memphis i believe its 1000X2 but not sure cuz i bought it used)

actually yea you guys are right i had my gain turned up all the way. but u learn from your mistakes and i wasnt born an audiophile to say the least but would still like to know how to get my amp back up and running. i'll see if it has a fuse inside

ok i found that i blew the fuses inside of the amp. i just replaced both fuses and the amp powers up now but im wondering how i blew those fuses inside the amp. im just gonna turn the gain to half way to see if that helps
