Amp shelf

I own a civic and will house 2 amps and a sub in the trunk. I was wondering if anyone ever just made a shelf for the amps. Just rest the first amp on a slab of wood and then make some kind of second layer like a double decker car park and just sit the second amp on the second shelf. Any obvious faults to this?

actually the current caraudio magazine has a setup in it with 3 amps layering each other made out of plexiglass slabs. Just make sure they are firmly stabalized and that you leave room for air movement or you will overheat.

really? bah... i was thinking of this idea but i think it will take up too much room. just do some glass box facing vertically to concerve space!
