Hi guys, this is my first post on the site since joining. I am setting up a system for my 2005 Nissan Titan kingcab. I already have 2 JL 10W3V2 D2 subs hooked up in a custom box for a total impedence of 2 ohms. I am going to be getting a Pioneer DEH-P8MP head unit and DLS MS6 front components and DLS 226 rear coaxials. I am looking for some amps to run this setup. The front comps can have 100W RMS and the rears 50W RMS. The subs can have 600W RMS. I am still trying to decide if I want to run the rear speakers off the HU and get a 2 ch amp for the fronts or bridge a 4 ch amp. I am open to any suggestions. I do want an amp that has an input sensitivity up to at least 6.5V so that I can take advantage of the HU's high voltage preouts. I want something high quality but not thats gonna kill the bank account. At first I was thinking of using the JL e4300 and e1400D amps for the speakers and subs, but if there is something better for a better price I would like to check it out. I want only legit amps that have a warranty. Thanks for any help!

i would just amp the fronts, and if you must, run the rears off of the deck. there is better for the price then jl. what is your budget? a pg xenon 600.1 will run those subs pretty well. then a 100 x2 amp for the fronts.

How are the Phenoex (sp?) Gold amps? Do they have an input sensitivity up to 6.5V? The more I think about it, I probably will just run the fronts off an amp and the rears off the HU.

PG amps will handle that input voltage fine...just keep the gains right...also i agree that u should amp the front comps and run the rear off deck power, great idea....as for the frontstage amp....PERSOANLLY i'd recommend checking out a memphis 16-mc3004 or 16-mc300 or ANY memphis class a/b amps on ebay.....best quality per dollar IMO...and the quality is AMAZING.....subs..... phenox gold amp would sound very nice... there are some rockford fosgate monoblocks out there that'll do close to that power at 2 ohms...definitly dont waste the money on JL....to exspensive, not good quality per dollar... wats a rough budget for the sub amp and door speaker amp?

I would like to get both amps for under $400 shipped. If its less, thats even better. I am really considering these Phoenix Gold amps (X100.2 and X600.1). I have heard good things about Memphis also, I will check them out.

those are solid amps. also memphis makes decent amps.

Does Phoenix Gold have any issues with buying online? Like do you still get a full warranty and do they allow online sales on ebay and everything?
