amp running hot

,I need some help. first off i did the BIG 3 running a mechman 270amp alt. . 0 gauge to engine ground to the battery, and on from the alternator + to the battery , and i only did a 4 gauge to the chassie to the battery. i have a kinetik Hc1800 under the hood and kinetik 3800 in the trunk. running a mtx TE1501d to 2 mtx 9512-44. they are wired to 1 ohm. i have tuned the amp with a 50 hertz test tone to 44.5 on my digital voltage meter at 50hrz . i got the 0 gauge wire going in a T distrobution block in the trunk 1 side going to the 3800 and the other to the amp. Should i run a 4 gauge wire to the cap + and - on my amp from my kinetik ??i had it ran like that before in another car . is that the cause of my voltage drops maybe its not getting any juice from my kinetik through the T Distrobution block ?? its a stinger 0 Gauge T block. also after i tuned my gain i took the crossover on the amp and retuned it . should i have left it at 50 hrz ?? the bass sounded flat kinda on 50. i really don't want to ruin my amp. any help would be appreciated

i think i know what im going to do tho. im going to change the power config up im going to run the 0 gauge im going to change my 3800 to my main power source and then change the T block 0 gauge to 4 gauge and run that to that cap input on my amp and run that cap ground back to my battery. also i don't have the ground 0 gauge it take 0 gauge but i have 4 gauge grounded to the chassie in my trunk should i upgrade the ground wire as well ?? does the ground wire even make a difference ?? cause this amp never got hot in my cavalier with a 4 gauge ground

don't really understand what the hell you just said, so here goes. First off why do you have a distro block in the back if you have a second battery What i would do is run the amps directly off the battery in the back and ditch the cap and distro block. Do you just have the one amp, if so, run 0 guage from the battery under the hood to the battery in the back(with a fuse in between) and wire your mtx amp to the battery in the bac(ground the battery in the back). With what you have you should not be getting any voltage drop at all. I have a kicker zx1500.1 with factory alt(125 amp) and a yellow top under the hood and my voltage barely drops. You have a 270 amp alt which is plenty, heck i know guys on here running over 3000 watts with only a 200 amp alt and they get no dimming, so you're doing something wrong
