so today my planet audio 2250 blew today. wasnt bumping hard at all. volume was at 18 and amp gain was set w/ dmm at volume 25. gain was set below rated. not sure what happened, one moment i had bass, the next i had smoke from the amp. im not an amp expert so i dont know whats wrong with it but i opened it up and took pics.

let me know if anyone knows whats wrong and is it an easy fix or can someone else fix it for me.

You could find out what FETs those are and try to solder new ones on yourself or pay ALOT of money to a place like dB-r and get a warranty on the repair and have it done right.

There could be a lot more wrong with it besides those transistors and gates, I can see anywhere from $100 - $200 to get repaired. Send db-r a PM for a quote.

I'd send it to Amp Repair Center. I sent them thousands of dollars of work with no issues. Not to mention they have excellent prices.
