how messed up does an amp have to be for it to be un repairable? are most blown amps repairable and if not how much damage needs to be done to the amp and what are some signs of it being un repairable? thanks in advanced guys. buying a blown amp and getting it repaired so i was just curious.

i got a good deal on this amp so i wouldnt mind paying 100-150 to get this thing repaired. thanks for the quick responses guys

I cant see exactly where its at on the board, but to my limited knowledge, it is something power supply related. All the fets within that regin will need to be replaced so it doesnt pop again. I would say you will pay around $150-$200 to have it repaired. Again, I could be wrong and I have before, just my understanding of what has happened.

those pics kinda look like a bad DIY repair job already to me.

and blown mosfets can be a symptom of a larger(more expensive) issue.
