AMP recommendations for a single Sundown SD10 D-3

Hello all,

I've currently got the build in my sig and decided it wasn't complete. I love my new speakers, but I need to fill that lower range =)

I've decided on the sundown sd10 in the subject with a Subthump enclosed shallow mount.

What would be a clean capable AMP to run this sub? I've already got a 4G power line with its name on it.

Really trying to keep my budget 150-200 on the amp.

Shlt u can find American bass ph4000 for like 200-212 shipped online brand new and that would give u plenty of clean power and head room for only a few dollars more then the ph1800

The 4000 "requires" 1/0 from the battery...one thing I am NOT doing is re-wiring =] Besides, I will NEVER go bigger. This is for a shallow mount, and not a big ear-bleeding box buster =]

It sounds like American Bass is a solid name around here? Wouldn't this fit the bill? American Bass PH1600MD 1600W Monoblock Phantom Series Micro Class

The Sub is rated at 500RMS.

Front the way it sounds, seems like it does close to it. If he's looking for 2kW, he can get the same one I have for $200. 3yr warranty for +$30
