Anyways I am looking for a amp for my front and rear speakers.

Front: MB Quart PSD 216

Rear: Infinity 5.25 52.3i

Right now I am leaning towards Fosgate amps for the affordability. Could someone reccomend me which amp to get to power those speaker?

Are Fosgate amps good?

Thanks //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Let me refine a little bit.

I am looking for a quality 4 channel amp that will make the setup I have sound good.

From what I read here are the power ratings of the speakers

MD Quarts Components: 60w-130w

Infinity Kappas: 55w-165w

dont even bother with those kappas. they simply cant compare with a good component set like yours. Give those MBs a clean 150 watts, turn down the gains, and you'll be amazed.

check out diamond amps, phoenix gold, etc.

I have heard the JL 300/4 used in a lot of applications. Its a very clean and good sounding amp, but you may want to consider running more power than to the quarts you have in front. Quarts are known to be inefficient and (assuming its a 4 ohm speaker) you will only be powering it with 37.5 watts. Enough to make them play and play well, but not enough to reach the maximum potential.

Guess what Choice I made...

I' ve been hearing so much good stuff from you guys and some friends and have come to the determination that PPI amps are good for highs.

But in the end I CHOOSE the JL 300/4, and I'm happy with my choice. and my ears are quite happy.

All I did to get better performance from my Quarts was to fade more power upfront, not like anyone wants to hear my Infinitys anyways:D //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

No need to bypass the amp. Most use an LOC that takes the full amped signal and turns it into a flat RCA level signal. Here is the newest I have...

It would also be easy to add an equalizer to have individual rca inputs for all of the channels. A decent one can be had for less than $40...
