Ya, you dont wanna clip it. I actually own that amp, I know the birth sheet that came with mine had it doing 468 RMS at 4 ohms mono. Im happy with it.

Then I would say its a great amp for you too use. Im using it to run a single 12" MTX MXS and it works phenominally

they are good amps. not the cleanest out imo.. but solid and usually reliable.. they def do rated power ... mtx has always made a pretty good amp.. just since the post mitek buyout many feel the quality went down from the old ones... one of my favorite amps ever to date was the thunder 2300... i loved those and man were they underated...

I bought the amp. 137.00 off of overstock. They're not on many websites. Maybe they quit making them because the thunders.
