I currently have 2 kenwood 12" subs running from a kenwood kac-729s mono amp and a set of polk audio mids and tweets running on a kac-829.
I have a Diamond Audio technology D5 600.4 and would like to put it in the place of the two kenwood amps. i would run a mid and tweet on channel 1/2 and run the subs each on 3/4 , or bridge 3/4 and tie the two subs togeather.
I like the idea of swapping the two amps for one because it will clean up the install. Both kenwood amps I beleive are 100 watt rms @4ohm per channel. The D5 says 75 watt @4ohm per channel. Even though it is less watts I assume it has more power beacuse of where it is rated at.
Which setup would yeild the best sound and volume? I assume the D5 amp is a much better quality than the kenwood.
