amp problems

I have an xtant 603x and 604x.. The 603x was showing over current protection so I opened it up and found that a resistor going to an output transistor shorted and fried the transistor, affecting all that were in series with it..

First question.. I already know the resistor and transistors need to be replaced, but is there anything else I should be specifically looking for that this could have affected?

Second question, when I removed the 604x I was a dumbass... I removed the ground wire first, but while i was taking off the positive lead the ground touched the metal of the screwdriver and sparked.. only for a split second but still.. and when I hooked the amp back up it didn't work.. still shows power, but I'm not getting anything out of it?

Third.. Inside the xtant are like 8 different things that you can strew to the left to turn down or right to turn up.. One is for noise gate, a few for input gains, and others I am not sure of.. Does anyone have advice as to how to correctly position these? This is not referring to the output gain controls, they are separate.. I was a noob and turned these down all the way thinking they were the main gains.. I need to figure out how to correct the values?? Anybody have experience with xtant inner workings??
