Amp problems

Im having problems with my pyramid 240 watt 2 channel amp. I have it running my 2 rear 6x9 speakers. Whenever i have my car turned off it works fine. But when i turn it on im getting some wierd high pitched noise and it wont play. I have the power, remote, and audio cables bundled up going to the front. The ground is on the chassis a couple feet from the amp. And the speakers are hooked directly up to the amp. Could someone please tell me how to fix this because I am baffled. I think it is some kind of interferance but I dont know how to get rid of it.

Separate your power, and your RCA's and run them apart from one another.. That sounds like it would do it.

if that doesnt work try a diff ground on the h/u and the amp.....
