amp overheating..

yeah ill admit its a old sony i had sitting in my closet from my first system ever, but it does produce around 150 watts @ 4ohms x 2, which is enough for my midbass's so i just decided to use it for now until i can get a better one, but it overheats constantly..

would cutting a hole through the heatsink/adding a fan, be worth it? i dont care if i if it looks bad (it already does it says sony lol)

or i could technically transfer it over to my midranges, and use the midrange amp on my midbasses for now, and would playing a higher freqency maybe help prolong overheating from happening?
