amp on/off switch

How is that any different than what normally happens to the amp anyway when you take the keys out of the ignition? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You'll be fine...

yea, that's what i was curious about...i know it's like turning a car on/off...so is it good or bad? not like i would be turning it on/off repeatedly for fun...

i have a switch wired up in my truck works fine, but sometimes when i forget to flip it off after i turn the truck off the subs will occasionally thump 2-3 times after about 20 seconds.

I had an on/off switch on hooked up to the remote wire on my amp with my last system. Never had any problems. I didn't switch it on and off, back and forth a lot (why would you?). I just used it to turn off the amp when my family was in the car (got a 3 year old son, don't want to hurt his ears).
