Amp on Bose System? Which Amp?

I have a 2011 GMC Sierra HD with the Nav/Bose system and was wondering if it was worth putting an amp on the factory Bose system? I have a Sub and amp going in soon... If I did put an amp on the factory Bose system what would you recommend?

I know but I was curious if installing a different amp would make a difference or not?

I wouldn't bother. The factory amp is already matched for the power of the speakers, as well as the neccessary crossover points for those speakers. You can improve upon this by going with a new amp AND new speakers, but amping factory speakers is a waste and in this case, may even sound worse.

Thats all I needed to know. I was thinking maybe amp the stock speakers before I upgrade to Hertz Hi Energys... but I will just wait if thats the case!!!
