Ok, well, i was hooking up my amp, i accidentally arced the power wire off of the heatsink on my amp, i got it all hooked up and now it wont turn on. As far as i can tell all the wiring is fine, no fuses blown, no loose wires. Could i have fried my amp when i arced the wire off of it?

It's possible.

You have a multimeter? Take a voltage reading on the amplifier's battery connection and ground connection, should read 12v with the car off. Turn the car to acc, test the remote and ground, should read ~14ish...

This is why you disconnect your battery before putting power wires into your amp. Open it up, look at the board- see anything that looks burnt? Youll see brown smudges, basically.
