amp location

somebody told me that it will mess up your amp if you mount it on your box... is that true?

im not sure, but I wouldnt due to vibrations that your amp is subjected to when mounted on top of the box...it would be better if you could put the amp on some sort of amp rack

think about your mirror/quarter panels/doors/roof etc. for a few minutes....................................

It rattles in your car not just on your box. you will be fine

Unless the box is poorly built, it is probably the most sold place in the car to mount the amp. I would be more concerned about the vibration transferred to the electronics from imply driving the car than from the bass. Unless the amp is a total POS you don't need to worry about either because you would have to pretty well hit it with a hammer to mess up any solid state electronics (i.e. smash the thing). Tubes are a different story.
