Amp keeps turning off?!

I have a:

JL Audio 10W3v3-4

JL Audio 500/1v2

And whenever the song is switching or gets really quiet at parts where there is no-minimal bass, the amp shuts off and powers back on like in the middle of a big bass part.

The amp will stay on if I keep the volume up but shuts off when I wanna turn it down for a sec... HELP!

Not gonna lie, I did kind of a shotty wiring job with the remote wire...... but it's it's still touching and everything? So that wouldn't be the problem I wouldn't think, i dunno maybe just throwin it out there. ANY IDEAS?!

yes, a poor wiring job will result in on/off, and also damage.

is the amp set to auto turn-on? pic of the settings of your amp and your wiring?

Not sure how to set "Auto-On" but Ill take a pic of settings tomorrow.

it's actually called "signal sensing" on the amplifier, next to the high/low voltage switch and sensing gain.
