Amp keeps overheating

I drive an 02 explorer. I have my amps down in the back at the somewhat false floor. I have the cover on the false floor so I know why it is getting hot. I don't want them mount them anywhere else. Is there any way I can keep it cool down there without taking the lid off the false floor? thanks.

Some computer fans might work. One on opposite sides doing a push/pull type thing.

You seem to have addressed your problem. Either redesign your false floor or add fans with proper ventilation.

to the cabin of your car....amps cannot be placed in a confined area they need to dissipate their heat to the surrounding air. The more/colder the available air the better.

I just don't want shit spilled on them if I put them under the back seat. Really would prefer to not have them mounted on the box as well.

You can always mount them the the back of the rear seats. Ive done that many times in my SUV
