amp issues

Hey guys i have a simple set up on my scion tc i do have my oem head unit simply because getting an aftermarket one is a pain in the butt i taped my remote wire with a add a circuit fuse and a switch that will turn it on and off but the remote wire does not seem to work and i have everything hooked up correctly it stays on
