hi. just a quick couple of questions about amp internals.

1. when looking at this black cable/wire, does the bigger guage the better in amps? i think in this picture its 8 guage or maybe 4

2. what are these, look-to-be metal railings for?

thx

so what are "buss bars" used for?
They're busbars, and they're just copper tubes used as electrical conductors, like a wire or a copper trace. They're hollow and raised above the pcb for heat reasons. The size is based on the current capacity. They're usually used for multiple shared connections, and can be used to jump from one part of the circuit to another. They might save space by eliminating the need for more traces on the pcb too.

They're not buss bars. They're jumpers. Carries voltage/current from point a to point b on the board where a trace wouldn't fit (usually used to "jump" over another trace that's in the way).

And it looks to be a Zenon board making it similar to a ton of amps out there. So what?
