Amp Installation

I am a total newb to this. I went out and got a cheap 300w amp for a 300w sub. I do not know how to wire it though. I hav a 2004 saturn ion. I am totally lost. Is there like a guide out there that explains things in detail on how to do this or what. I need help.

The two wires coming out of the amp are both 10 gauge. i have the low input coming from the deck in the back. I am not sure if I hooked it up right though.
