Ok, so i got my RE dts1500.1 replaced after i caught it on fire. Ups dropped off the new one this afternoon and im going to install it in my truck this weekend. My question is.... Sould i use the 250a ANL fuse i have or should i buy another 150a until i can get my 1/0awg wire? Right now i have a run of 4awg from the battery back to a distro block then 4awg to the amp. Im also going to be re-locating the amp and not installing it on the box this time.

the max amperage on 4 gauge is 150 amps and thats if you have the 1862 ofc shiz i would never put more than a 150 otherwise its like not haveing a fuse at all because if you get a cut somewhere the fuse woulnt blow.

I'll just pick up a 100a tomorrow just to be safe then.
