hey, I have a 2005 silverado with the bose system. I tried to install an amp and sub, using the rear speaker leads. I got very little sound from the sub. What II did get had no bass. I know the sub and amp work. I tested them on another stereo right after, and they worked fine in my last vehicle. I was told bose has an in line crossover. Is this true? And how do I get around it? Any info would be great. Thanks

Where exactly did you tap into? The leads behind the radio are low level outputs. The wires sitting between the speaker and the stock amp are high level... this is where you want to splice into for signal if you're using a high to low conversion.
