Amp install question

Been looking at an amp to run 4 kicker KS693's for an old boat I restored. Someone suggested a Boston Acoustic GT2125. I found one for $109, was just wondering if this is still a good choice since its an older amp. My real question is weather 4 gauge wire is good enough to run 10 feet for both power and ground, no other place to ground than the neg. term on batt. Thanks.
