BTW, Everyone is welcome

Im going to get an Amplifier Installation Kit from knukonceptz.com, and i dont know which one to get.

This are the amp im going to get.

for the front. Zapco REF750 .

for the sub. Zapco REF1100.1

1) the Zapco REF750 on the amp it shows 25 amps X3 = 75 Amp, but it also says this.. "Max. Current Requirements 120 Amps @ 750 watts"

soo im not sure if i should go with the 75 amp or 120amp

2) the Zapco REF1100.1 on the amps it shows. 30 amps X 3 =90 amps, but it also says " Max. Current Requirements 135 Amps @ 900 watts"

again im not sure, should i go with the 90 amp or the 135 amp.

The Amplifier Installation Kit , im thinking about getting this. here is the link

http://www.knukonceptz.com/productDetail.cfm?prodID=KOL-AK0

the only thing i confused about it what size fuse to get?

should i get the 150 amp fuse? or should i get the 200 amp fuse?

couse i was thinking the 150 amp fuse should be fine.

what you guys think.

PS: do i need a Kapacitor??

TY

the fuse on your power wire isn't to keep the amp from blowing, thats what the fuses on the amp are for.

the fuse on your wire is to keep the car from catching on fire if it grounds out...

i'd go wth 200 or 250.

I'd go with the 250. Are you going to split the 1/0 into 2 4ga to power the amps? I'd definatly go ahead and pick up an extra 8-10ft of 1/0 and an extra fuse holder, so you can do the Big 3. Doing the Big 3 is 100x better than a capacitor. BTW...nice choice of amps. What does the rest of the system consist of?

Yes, im am going to split the 1/0 into 2 4ga to power up the 2 amps. your right i should get another 10 feet of 1/0 and a extra fuse holder for the BIG 3. and im planing on getting a Distribution Block for the ground and for the power. but if im not mistaken doesnt the Distribution Block need to have fusses too??

the system is going to be.

Rainbow Germs for the fronts( i got to get it from Don)

Zapco REF750 for the fronts

FI 15Q

Zapco REF1100.1 for the sub.

Kenwood P-NAV6019, Eclipse AVN2454 for the H/U

I dont know if i need anything alse.

Why not?

I've been too loud to listen to on an 80 amp fuse, I can't imagine why you'd need to go too much bigger for anything less than a burpmobile.

As far as fusing for the wire, it's quite acceptable to fuse below the wire's limit - you want the fuse to be the weak link if all hell breaks lose / car accident / act of god.
