Amp install HELP

I have a 08 Aura xr with the aas system. 8 speakers and the amp in the trunk.I would like to hook up an amp and sub. I have some aftermarket 6x9 and my old jl audio sub.I want to keep the fronts the same. Should i just bypass the stock amp and go right to my amp by way of loc? What im getting at is, does the stock amp power all the speakers also doesnt it cut down on the bass to the rears when it gets turned up.Should i just take the rear speaker wire BEFORE the stock amp and go from there?

if you can get signal before the amp you are mostly likely getting a full range signal. IMO - before amplification is ideal.
