Amp install '95 Cutlass Ceria

First things first... New to the forums... hello everyone.

I have a '95 Cutlass ceria...

I've installed my deck, RCA and remote wires.

I am having a heck of a time finding a place to pass the power cable through the firewall. Anyone know this car and would be able to inform me as to where I could pass this cable through or the best place to drill a hole (last resort). I can't even see the access point for the wires. If it is like the 89 Cutlass Calias I had, then drill away.

whys everyone so afraid of drilling?

just check to see and make sure its going through where nothing is in the way and you got room to drill, poke a gromet in there, and slide-er-thru.

the best way to do it IMO.

I'm always concerned about drilling a hole into a firewall.. rust and all.

But if thats what I have to do then, I'll do it.

why worry rust? put a bit of primer in the hole before you put the grommet if it make you feel better, but i never seen a drilled hole rust under the hood in any of my cars.
