Amp in PRT

I just bought a L7 15 and a 1200.1 CX it has 4AWG wire and Yellow top. The sub played for a few mins and the went into PRT mode and has come out since. I'm only getting 4.5 - 4.9 volts at the amp but unplugged I'm getting full power. Any idea what's going on?
