I bought an amp on ebay. It seems to play for like 10 seconds and then it will cut on and off ( the power light stays on the whole time). If I press in on the RCA's it will keep playing but when I let off it will stop eventually. I tried different rcas to no avail. Is there some way to fix this? Solder or something? Should I just send it back and eat the shipping and get my little bit of money back?

The RCA connector is probably making a bad connection. You can open up

the amp and do a visual inspection.

Two terminals, the fat one is ground, the skinny one is hot. Make sure they

are soldered well to the circuit board as you plug in the RCA cable.

If ok, it could be the inside of the RCA connector as the contact is probably

bent or something, you can probably get some needle nose pliers and

bend it back in shape so it makes a good connection with the RCA cable.

It's simple stuff really, just look closely and find the root cause of the bad

connection.

yea......do what he said....if the rca's seem to be loose when you push them in, just bend them to get a tighter fit, so they cant move. its easy enuff to try to fix yourself before you go returning it.

Good luck!
