Amp hold a charge?

Yes. Some hold more than others. I was running new power cables and a fuse block yesterday and i had the positive cable to my RF 801S laying in the trunk. I must have arced that cable like 15 times during the installation of the fuse block and 1/0. LOL. They do hold a charge and if your amp doesn't hold a charge you should look into getting it repaired.

Im getting a real bad spark when I plug my fuse into my fuse holder tried multiple things and its only one of my amps thats making this explosion. lol But its really like nothing i've ever seen its a rather large pop and it keeps blowing my fuse. Just have no clue why its this one amp thats causing all this trouble?

I checked grounds, connections, tried without the other amp and hooked up directly to the battery (using fuseholder tho) and just cant understand it. I had this cap and I think thats what caused all this trouble. But now I need a solution to getting this S*** working again. Im gonna hook it up in a friends car and see if the amp is still doing the same thing.
