Amp help...

I know that there are always different opinions, on virtually everthing. However, where it pertains to amps...I was thinking about using a pair of Boson Acoustics GT-28 amps...one each for a 12" JBL GTi SII sub (1100Wts/sub). As well as a B/A GT-24 Amp for the B/A Pro 60 mids. They should deliver around 275/ch x 2ch. Does anyone think this is too much? Personally, I don't think so, but some think it is.

The JBL subs are rated for 750W/ea, but are rated for peak of 4000W. I was told that 1100W/ea, was fine if it was clean power (sealed boxes). Would 275/ch be too much for the mid/tweets?
