Amp Help For a MTX 9500?

Single 4 ohm means when you hook one of those subs up to an amp, the amp sees 4 ohm. If you have dual 4 ohm with one sub, you can either run an amp at 2 ohm if you wire the sub in parallel, 8 ohm if it's in series. That sub is 1000 watts RMS, correct?? So you want a mono amp that's stable at 2 ohm and is somewhere around 1000 watts RMS X 1 at 2 ohm.

Check out the 1000 watt amp thread in the amplifier section, you'll be able to find an amp that matches your budget and your power rating.
