sub mono amp

is it good to have lp filter at about 35 htz or 25% up rather?

here's the setup, not that it should matter.

2 12's sealed rms 300 watts

amp rms is 320 watts total

i was going to set everything like this

gain 50-60%

bass boost 70-75%

lp filter 25-35%

respond asap!!!

Umm... amp controls should be set for specific results, not by % of rotation.

LP filter should be set at about 80 Hz. Gains should be set by listening to loud heavy bass music and turning up until you get distortion. Boost is a matter of preference.

hey warren...just me but i def. wouldn't use that much bass boost....personally it makes it sound shittier! i have NO bass boost on mine right now...just set ur gains right and keep low pass on like 60-80hz...and maybe with a lil bass boost. peace

Bass boost causes alot of clipping... keep your gains right and bost down and ptu the l filter about 60~ and youll be good.
