Kirk Neil (the one you are defending here) is the one responsible for the handling of the repair your driver if he is the one that sold it to you. You are pointing the finger toward the wrong person honestly - he should have handled the transaction himself. That is what we are there for as dealers. If adire didn't furnish your driver, it's hard for them to know what is going on unless the dealer responsible for the sale and the warranty communicates responsibly with the company.Originally posted by Spddracer Well after waiting for 4 months to get my Brahma back it showed up today , Opend the box and guess what , Its the same fking way I sent it to them , Not fixed , And now the fricking baskets broken ! You guys don't realize how lucky you all are.. There's thousands of people offline, who have never heard of this stuff.. and are going into local shops, and paying 500-800 dollars or more.. for the top line woofers from JL, or RF, or Kicker... you think they are getting a good deal?

Well I have put some thought into this and I dont really know who is to blame here . Adire/Ampman ? And neither does anyone else I dont think without knowing the specifics which I wont go into great detail about this because this post would take up 4 pages ! But 4 months actually going on 5 now is rediculous to have a sub repaired . I sent it back in September with the lead slap problem , I have had 2 Brahmas both had lead slap , A good friend had one also with lead slap , Mine decided to snap the tinsel post of at the solder joint on the post (no it wasnt user error ) I sent it back to be repaired , Sent it to ampman then they sent it to adire 4 months ago Dave Reese ( no longer with ampman I guess) sent it to adire a week later , Well I got it back (last week) 4 1/2 months later the way I sent it to them with zip ties added to the tinsels Thats it ! The tinsel mount that I had resolderd (Which I made very clear I wanted fixed this was the main reason for sending it back ) was never touched which is why I sent it back in the first place , I wouldnt think Adire ( being as great as everybody claims) would send a sub back in this condition . The sub was filthy dirty and looked like it had been sitting on a shelf in a dirty shop for 4 months , I mean it had dust 1/4 inch thick on it !I think there is alot of miscommunication between Adire and Ampman and to me this is a fault to both companies But anyway the basket was broke when I got it back so Im getting a new one . I think I may give it one more try if I can drum up an amp for it . I have to say I would love to hear it without the annoying lead slap and hopefully they have fixed the problem .. Allthou Zip ties dont seem to be a very professional fix ! But from what I heard out of that sub I WAS Impressed for the short time I had a chance to listen to it ! Thats All FLAME ME AWAY !Originally posted by TheGrimReaperKD All good things comes to those who wait...but 4 months? That's kind of pushing it...
