Hello,
I have had my subwoofers and amp hooked up on my car for nearly 6 years. I recently had to remove them from my car for travel purposes. When I went to put them back in, there was no bass. I first checked the amp fuses, which were both blown. Additionally, the fuse in the middle of the amp kit wiring was blown. I replaced all three, but again the amp fuses blew and each of the additional two times I tried again, they sparked and blew. A few days later I realized that the wire for the amp power came out of the clamp that is screwed into the amp. Could that being loose have been the cause for all of the shorts/blown fuses or is there no way and it's potentially a larger problem? I wanted to get advice before I just went and grabbed a new amp kit. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
