Amp for Two Pioneer Champion Series Subs 400W RMS each

Hello Everyone

I am looking for an amp for my 2 pioneer champions series subs. Each sub is 400W RMS. so i am looking for a sub that can give actual power to combine 800W RMS subs. my choices are pioneer, sony,kenwood or JBL.

out of your choices, JBL is the only one that looks good. whats your budget bro? there's much better stuff for the money out there.

that pioneer amp side show suggested will work fine if you never plan on upgrading to something bigger.

I have the GMD 8601 and run it at 1ohm. The amp never runs hot, in fact, it never even gets warm. For $130, I don't see how you can find anything any better. It's really small and sounds good. I have mine on a 10" Type R and love it.

It's the Alpine Type R 10" D2, wired to 1ohm. I think it's rated at 1000 rms.

I'm no expert but it sounds great to me. I haven't set anything with a meter. I set it to where it sounds good, and I know it isn't clipping. I use the bass knob as a throttle. Since songs are recorded differently, I'll turn it up or down accordingly. Works great for me. For one 10", it sounds good in my truck.

He's probably the jbl gto EZ series, but those are meant for 2 ohm configurations and up. Either get that pioneer or grab

these SQ amps are much better quality make more then rated power easily.
