Amp for Q, or BTL?

what size sub are you looking to run? If a 12 or 15 I would look into a massive audio p. series amp!! I just got a p3000.1 in and installed it, and I am very impressed with it. Will be changing out my kicker cvx's for a pair of btl's soon!!

The Massive Audio P series isn't really an exceptional amplifier line by the specs. That sheet came from the factory thats makes them and is for the P1500.1 model. Notice that 1% THD power @ 1 ohm is only 146 watts... that is not an error. You are at 2% THD before you get 1000 watts. To get the advertised 1500 watts you need a solid 14.4 volts and only then at over 2% THD. For that matter those are 100 Hz ratings and if you look at the lower right hand graph it loses power fairly significantly as you drop in frequency. The P3000.1 is nothing more than two of those in one chassis, take it as you will.

They aren't crappy amps... but they really don't deserve alot of the praise they get on the forums. For the money they are pretty good, that is true. They are also pretty efficient, another plus. If people like them so much and you can find enough guys to buy 100 units worth of them I can get sell you the equivalent of a P3000.1 for 300 dollars or so each and still turn a profit on them.

I like your product, just a little out of my price range.

Indeed, and in the price to power bracket the Massive is a pretty good piece of equipment. I will warn you, though, not to run it under rated impedance. I sent one of the samples I got from the factory out for testing and it blew several rectifier diodes on a hard 1 ohm purely resistive test. Other than that they did well, the best feature of that line is the efficiency... it really is quite good.

Also... be careful with the remote control. Make sure it doesn't get pulled out during operation. It is like a mini microphone plug and when you unplug one of those in operation you can get a nasty burst of noise.
