Amp for my 15" Mag

I want an amp that puts out between 1000 and 1500 watts.

I was planning on getting a nine.1 because on paper it looks amazing but I have heard it has a really distorted sound.

Is there anything for below $400 with shipping that will be comparable to the Sundownz SAZ1500-D? It looks great but I cannot justify spending that much money on an amp.

US Amps MD2D or whatever puts out 1800 watts at 1 ohm and that is to much for a Mag and their 2000D which would be perfect is in there budget line of amps so I would assume the SQ is about on the same level as the nine.1.

Any opinions? I just need something under $400 that can put out a clean 1000-1500 watts with a warranty. Preferably not something from the major companies (Orion, Kicker, Alpine, Rockford, MTX...you know what I mean.)

I don't know who told you nine.1's have distorted sound but they are wrong. I just got a nine.1 and i like it alot.

Why the hell not? Kicker and Orion both make solid amps that would fit the bill perfectly. The MD2 is nice. Friend runs one daily and its a sexay beast to say the least. I'm partial to the JBL/Crown stuff. You can get the BPx1100 on ebay for around $450...

as much as i dislike eDuh products, the Nine 9 is a pretty solid amp IMO .. if you can snag one for cheap id go for it

You could get one of those PA3000's, and feed that mag some real power...I have a team mate selling two of them for $300 and they're almost 2 months old, he won MECA Finals in his class with them..... hit me up if your interested
