amp for IDQ 10"

I put this in the amplifier forum too, since it involves both.

Bought a 10" IDQ 2ohm double voice coil, and put it in a .6cf box. Power handling is

50 - 300 watts rms. I'm looking at two amps:

1. Arc Audio 2100xxk 380x1@4ohms bridged Type A/B

2. Arc Audio FD1200 510x1@4 ohms Type D (might be typeT)

I'm leaning towards the 2100xxk. Any thoughts or opinions on these choices? It'll be one or the other.

Thanks,

Jim

both amps power is enough for the sub,if i will to chose between this two. i will go for the 2nd option ,type D amp ,more power and more control.if your box can make a bit bigger that will be nice.

I'd go with the 2100XXK, those are great amps. duno if u'll hear much of a difference but A/B generally will be better SQ. more amp draw but since its not pushing too much power anyways it should be fine.
