3 8's again...

well ive been working on this for a long time trying to get the most out of the compartment i have in my Tundra.. i can fit 3 8"s with aprox 1.2 cu ft, so not much air space, and i could squeeze in 5" mounting depth... i currently have 3 8w3's but i want louder..... 3 8" l7s? would those be much louder, i can get a new amp. and would the 8" Assassins be louder than the jls? i have 500w currently going to the jls. thanks

If you can squeze the assassins, they will DEFINATELY be louder than the JLs in the right install...Give them each atleast 200W and you should be fine...

Can you get 4 8s and load them isobarik? That would be an awesome way to make use of that small amount of space.

I could fit 4, but there is not enough airspace for 4 8's cause it would be at about 1.5cu ft, by cutting out a metal divider between the 2 compartments im working with. cant do isobaric because i will have the seat down.

Good thread because i'm thinking about switching out my 4 8" JL W0's for the assassins and keeping my 500/1 as well. But I'm not sure if I can fit them in my current box.

You dont have nearly enough power for the L7s nor the airspace. Sorry I thought you said you wanted to keep your amp. My bad //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif You still dont have the room for L7s. I vote AA assassins and get an amp that does around 1200-1500 at 1 or maybe 2 ohms...

It's hard to beat a $50 woofer that pounds like the assassin does. I don't think you will find much else in the same price range with the same output.
