Amp for componets

What are some of the most efficient and well built amp companies out there? I just bought a pair of dynaudio 242's and I'm looking for an amp to run them. No budget just want a amp that is well built and effiecient. Now correct me if I'm wrong but after reading many threads there is no diffrence in SQ between a 5000 dollar amp and a 500 dollar amp that are both equal in power. Except for the efficiency and the quality in which thier built.

best sounding amp I've used to this point was an old school Xtant. others deserving honorable mention that I've used are the new RF power series and crossfire tek amps

you really can't go wrong with Mac's or iPaul.
