Amp for bot front stage/subs or amp for front & amp for sub

I am building a system for my chevy 2500. Looking for SQ. I just bought 2 Polk MM 1240 subs and looking at some fronyt stages to buy soon. Question: should I get an amp to push both the front stage and subs or should I get an amp for the front stage and an amp for the subs? Please help. J

Thats up to u... U can go with a mono for the subs and a 2channel for the fronts or u can get a 4 channel and run both. I like to run them seperate.. If u can afford it just go active and u will never go back
